OP: Replace frenzy with flurry and your build is exactly like mine. It is a very powerful build, and it's able to slaughter touch rangers in 1v1 fights if they don't bring throw dirt.

Um, this build is good for specific situations, which Battousai did describe. Although I probably wouldn't choose to use it, I'm not entirely sure that this build is that flameworthy, and even if it was, I'd tell the flamer(s) *cough siren cough* to calm down.

I guess I'll give a suggestion. In a build that uses assassin attacks to kill an enemy, Frenzy probably isn't necesary, considering sins are so fast anyways. But I might be wrong because (I confess) i didn't read your entire summary of the build, and there might be some reason why it's useful.

In an assassin build, like Scourgey said, Flurry is better than Frenzy 'cause anyway your whole damage is coming from skill's bonuses instead of weapon strenght.

When I know I can rely on a very good monk I sometimes run a similar build dedicated to pure damage with no self defence, just Dash to retreat or chase when I'm in need.

I'll be running with these for a while and see how it goes;

Jagged Strike
Leaping Mantis
Jungle Strike
Blades of Steel / Twisting Fangs
Critical Eye / Shadow of Haste
Way of Perfection / Shadow Refuge
Signet of Malice / condition removal of choice
Rez / Viper Defence / whatever you have here.

Its pretty standard but its got a nice bit of damage at the end. With Critical Eye you should be doing some nice criticals regaining energy, that and the recharge time of the first three attacks is both short and low on the energy usage.

Basically you activate 5 and 6 jump your target, and go through the sequence of 1 - 4. I havent fully tested this yet so I don't know how it'll go but it seems like it should work in a variety of situations. Critical Eye and Way of Perfection allows you to take some punishment whilst you are hitting your target. If you take vipers defence instead of the Rez Signet then you can bug out and leave them with a present. I almost always run with a Rez signet. Actually I almost always use the second option of SoH and Shadow Refuge for a hit and run style attack but Im just experimenting with different combos. Like the title says, fun builds.

"5, Anti-knockdown? Yes, balanced stance and dolyak signet. I am not afraid of anyone stupid enough to use that and probably have better targets to choose from than a warrior who uses balanced stance. It is not like he is going to hurt my team any anyways, so I will allow him to continue to noob it up."

i use balanced with desper blow drunken= 4 or 5 conditions before balanced wears.

although, im not knocking your build or ideas, i like them

A single screenshot of altar isn't enough to call the build "good". It's not "horrible", just that I wouldn't use Frenzy. Assassins own in pvp, but the "Flawless Victory" part isn't that impressive because that particular map has been flawlessed 8/10 times that I've watched it.

As for Frenzy- The only reason I don't like that you're using this skill is because an afflicted soul explosion will own you if it's from a boss.

Anything that takes away from the damage is generally bad, and flurry is more strenious on the energy.

Many of the skills listed are self heals-- completely worthless in PvP

That build is not used by anyone that has played the game for awhile for a reason. . .

Sorry, this build is not PvE.

-5 damage per hit from daggers (on a critical) is nothing, as Flurry does not decrease your dagger +skill damage at all. You already mentioned that the damage combo you posted already does an overkill on an unhealed target with twisting fangs as well.

Frenzy is a dangerous skill even if you know how to use it, and you should know that being as skilled as you are. A more energy intensive IAS that won't kill you if something goes wrong but doesn't decrease damage much at all is better.

Finally, if a team realises your importance to the build AND YOU USE FRENZY, they may stick a warrior permanently on you, and if you use frenzy when he attacks you, he could just adrenaline spike you to death.

Course it's just my opinion, feel free to run a risky skill when you could just run a slightly less efficient safer version and not lose much damage output at all.
